I began my blog in March, 2011, during my second year of law school. I was grateful for and humbled by my law school experience, and truly appreciative of the exciting new opportunities available to me. However, I felt somewhat disconnected between my own world--my interests, passions, and inspirations--and the legal world that I was now a part of. I had discovered (and loved!) blogs a few years before, but it was not until this time that I felt compelled to begin my own. I wanted a place to explore, solidify, and share my world . . . hence the creation of Legally Chic. This isn't your average legal blog. This isn't your average fashion blog. LC is one twenty-something, stiletto-loving, (almost!) lawyer's take on what it means to be a woman in the legal field. From the courtroom to couture, LC explores my loves of fashion, law, and everything in between.
